Privacy Policy
What we collect, what we share, and how to reach us.
Rivven is a marketplace that connects homeowners with local home-service providers. This page explains, in plain language, what data the request flow produces, when it is shared, and what your contact options are.
Effective: 2026-08-11
Section 01 of 8
When you submit a service request through Rivven, we collect the form fields you provide — the job description, the service category, the service address, your name, phone number, and email address — plus the timestamps and visitor log entries (IP address, user agent, referrer) needed to operate the service, prevent fraud, and produce the audit trail of who acknowledged which version of our data-handling notice.
If you create a Rivven account, we store authentication credentials, your email address, and any preferences you set in your profile. We do not request a credit report, run a credit pull, or make any lending decision on the homeowner side; the lead marketplace does not collect the data a credit check would produce.
If a request is sent to a matched provider, we store the routing decision, the provider's acceptance or decline, any messages exchanged inside Rivven between you and the provider, and the audit event "Rivven delivered this request to provider N at timestamp T".
Section 02 of 8
When you submit a service request, Rivven matches it to a single qualified provider in your area based on the service category, the service address, the provider's coverage area, and the provider's current lead-load settings. We share the job description, the service category, and the service zip code with the matched provider so they can decide whether to bid their time on the work.
If the matched provider accepts the lead, we then share your contact details (name, phone, email) so the provider can follow up with a quote, an ETA, and any clarifying questions. Until the provider accepts, your full contact details stay inside Rivven. If the matched provider declines, we route the request to the next qualified provider in your area; if no qualified provider is available, we email you to tell you the request could not be placed and we hold the request on file for a short window in case capacity opens up.
Section 03 of 8
If you create a provider account on Rivven, the same authentication pattern applies — email + password — and we additionally collect the operational fields a provider needs to take leads: trade category, coverage area, business name, and (where the provider chooses to share it) phone number. Provider accounts are gated on a verification step before they can buy leads, and we keep the verification record alongside the provider profile so any later dispute has provenance.
Section 04 of 8
Rivven is intended for adults (18+) who are U.S. residents and who are seeking a home-service provider in a coverage area Rivven currently serves. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we do not direct the service to residents of jurisdictions where home-service lead marketplaces are prohibited.
Section 05 of 8
If you believe a piece of information we have stored about a request is inaccurate, or you want to dispute a routing decision or a provider interaction, the fastest path is to email rivven-2@polsia.app with the word "Dispute" in the subject line and a description of the issue. We will acknowledge a written dispute within ten business days and complete our investigation within thirty days. If we need additional time we will tell you why and when you can expect a final response.
Rivven will not retaliate against you for filing a dispute. If a dispute about a service performed by a matched provider can't be resolved directly between you and the provider, you can route it to your state's consumer protection office or to small-claims court in the county where the work was performed.
Section 06 of 8
Rivven retains request, audit, and acknowledgment records for as long as it takes to route the lead, resolve any dispute, and satisfy our audit obligations, and no longer than is reasonably necessary to defend against fraud or civil claim. We encrypt data in transit (TLS 1.2 or higher) and at rest, restrict access by role, and log every internal access event.
No security control is perfect. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant regulator consistent with applicable state and federal breach-notification law.
Section 07 of 8
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make a material change, we will post the updated policy at this URL with a new effective date; where appropriate, we will also notify signed-in users by email. Continued use of Rivven after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
Section 08 of 8
Rivven can be reached by email at rivven-2@polsia.app. We do not list a postal mailing address on this site yet; until we publish one, please direct any correspondence that requires paper delivery to the email above and we will reply with a current mailing address within five business days.
